A few years ago, I went to a conference in Toronto hosted by the Internet Marketing Centre in order to learn more about their products and buy their stuff.

Ironically, during a lunch break at that conference someone said to me:

"Listen to everything the Internet Marketing Centre folks have to say, but buy Site-Build-It instead".

The advice came a little late, because I had already spent (happily) a few hundred dollars buying stuff from the Internet Marketing Centre.

But - as you can imagine - I was VERY intrigued, and as soon as I was able to get online, I searched for "Site Build It!"

..... I just needed to find out what the heck it was!

So .. I got on line, and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!

When I finished watching the Site-Build-It Video Tour for the first time, I said to myself:

"This is it! - This is my ticket to internet profits".

You see, I've been building business web sites since 1998, and - prior to finding SBI -I had been doing it "the hard way" ..learning HTML, how to use FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc., etc.

Unfortunately, even though I learned a lot about web sites, my online success had been very limited, and I was still waiting to get my share of the internet profit pie.

But then, I met SBI ...

Why I Instantly Fell in Love with SBI

There are actually a few reasons why now I'm such a big SBI fan.

Reason # 1:  SBI Delivered to Me What it Promised: Results!

The first web site I built using SBI a few years ago reached TOP spots in Google, Yahoo! and MSN in just a few months.

I could not believe it!

All I had done was follow the step-by-step action guide.

In fact, that web site began to appear at numero 1 when people searched for my main keywords (leaving behind 601,000 competing sites).

Reason # 2:  SBI put about $2000.00 Back in My Pocket ... Every Month !!!

Before I found SBI, I used to spend between $1000 to $2000.00 in paid online advertising (such as Google Adwords) every month! (See screenshot below from my Google Adwords account).

Needless to say, once the "SBI process" catapulted my web site to the top of the search engine results, I no longer needed to spend that money in Google Ads.

Not bad for something that cost me only $299 ... for the whole year! [ Considering what it includes, SBI should cost a LOT more ]

Reason # 3: SBI Puts Entrepreneurs in Control of their "online presence"

Many entrepreneurs (including real state agents, insurance agents, travel agents, MLMers and 'sales reps') buy "TEMPLATE-based web sites" to promote their businesses.

They like the idea of the "turn-key web site" because it (seemingly) requires little effort on their part.  

They seem not to mind  .... (or are they pretending?) ..... that hundreds of other professionals in their field, even in their own city, have the same "cookie-cutter" site, where the only difference (from the prospects' and buyer's point of view) is the name at the top.

 I realize that many professionals opt to buy "turn-key, cookie-cutter websites" (over which they actually have very little control ) because:

->  they don't know how to do it themselves, 

->  they are not aware of  other "options" 

->  or (and this is a REAL constraint), they do NOT have THE TIME to do it themselves.

I can perfectly understand that busy real estate agents, insurance brokers, restaurant owners, doctors, lawyers, auto mechanics, massage therapists and other sales professionals, need to spend most of their time selling and delivering services and products to their clients ... and not "learning how to become super web masters".

Ultimately, "being in control of your online presence"  means that you will be able to build your own brand(s), and create a true business asset for yourself. . 

Reason # 4: SBI Gives Entrepreneurs a Solid Business Education

And... why is a solid business education crucial for entrepreneurs and small business owners?

You see, most "training programs" available to entrepreneurs focus mostly on specific "industry / technical knowledge".

In other words, entrepreneurs invest a considerable amount of time and money on "professional development" ...... which usually refers only to the type of education that allows them to expand their "technical knowledge". 

... and that's very important! 

We all need professionals that are very competent at their core business.

However, most small business owners are not exposed often enough to information that can help them to better RUN A BUSINESS ....

... and that's why many small businesses fail or are struggling to make ends meet (even though the owner is a very competent and knowledgeable professional) .
